Mike is currently a Captain and is a former dog handler and head trainer for one of the largest law enforcement agencies in Northern Virginia, spending nearly 14 years handling four of his own dogs and training hundreds of other dogs in obedience, criminal apprehension, tracking and illegal narcotics detection. Mike has traveled around the country and learned from and trained with numerous other law enforcement agencies. He is extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to learn, train and work with some of the leaders in this industry. Mike and his K-9 partners have won and placed in at least the top three of every Iron Dog competition they have entered and competed in. He has won numerous awards with not only his dogs, but with co-workers dogs as well. Mike is very devoted and passionate about dog training and treats every dog as if it were his own. Mike is a full time law enforcement officer who fulfills his passion of training dogs during his time off.
Kelly has walked hundreds of dogs (including numerous breeds) and has also cared for many cats, fish, turtles, chickens, ducks, rabbits and goats. Kelly is eager to focus on growing our business and providing a service with our twist that propels us above and beyond the competition. When they aren’t working, Mike and Kelly enjoy traveling often and spending time with their 2 daughters, son-in-law, and grandson. They also enjoy a full house with their own pets—a Siberian Husky named Skye, a Shih Tzu named Snooki, a Shih Tzu mix named Sadie, and 2 rescue cats named Sasha and Spice Girl.
